MEDICINE BALLS: THE KEY TO A FUN AND CHALLENGING WORKOUT

Everyone loves to keep a fit and healthy body for different reasons. While some people engage in workout routines to build or trim muscle mass, others do so to keep fit and stay healthy. However, a lot of people give up on workout routines because they do not have all the gym equipment they think they need.

This doesn’t have to be the case, as medicine balls provide an exciting chance to get an amazing workout without depending on tons of gym equipment.

Medicine balls can be thrown, caught in different exercise routines, and lifted, as they come in different weights. It is advisable that you stick with a weight that affords you the strength to perform 3 exercise sets of 15 or 17 reps each. You should also ensure that the weight is not so heavy that you lose form or are discouraged.

Increase the weight slightly if it is too easy or decrease it if it is too heavy.

 A PARTNER CAN MAKE IT MORE FUN

One of the advantages of medicine balls is that you can still have a decent workout with little or no gym gear. This is everything that you will need for an effective and simple core workout. If you want to introduce a little bit of fun to your routine, you should consider getting a partner.

It is important that you look for a partner who has similar body strength as yourself to keep your workout balanced and fun.

PARTNER WORKOUT ROUTINES USING MEDICINE BALLS

When exercising with your partner using medicine balls, you both should be able to complete 15 reps of 3 set for each exercise.

You should pick up weights that are not too heavy to keep your strength going. However, you should avoid weights that are not challenging. These workout routines can give your body the same fitness result as Steroids Evo products if you stay motivated.

Try to take a maximum of 60 seconds rest between sets. It will take about 55 minutes to complete the entire workout session.

Here are a few exercise routines that you can practice with your partner using medicine balls:

o   Russian Twist: Sit straight on the floor beside your partner so that you are facing each other. Lift your knees up by shifting your feet close to you and placing them on the floor. With your hands on the medicine ball beside you, pass it to your partner. Repeat the process for the number of reps and sets stated above.

o   Side Throw Routine: Stand opposite your partner while holding the medicine ball. Sway the ball gently from your left side to your front and throw it to your partner. Your partner should do the same. Do this for both sides.

TIPS TO KNOW WHEN USING MEDICINE BALLS

  •             It is important that you use a ball with a challenging weight, but one that is not too heavy. Using a very heavy ball puts you and your partner at risk for injury.
  •             Medicine balls help add different strength movements beyond the dumbbell and kettlebell.
  •             Working out with a team or a partner is a motivator, as it makes exercising more fun.
